Windows
1. Hold the "Alt" key on the keyboard. If you have a laptop with a special key that must be pressed to turn certain letters into a numeric keypad, hold this key as well.
2. Type the digits 2, 3 and 6 on the numeric keypad.
3. Release the "Alt" key. The infinity symbol will appear at the location of the cursor.
Mac
1. Open any application that allows text entry.
2. Hit the "Option" and "5" keys on the keyboard simultaneously.
3. Release both keys. The infinity symbol will appear at the location of the cursor.
